One of our longer short films, Herman@s (Sibling X) by Hélène Alix Mourrier will be screening as a lone film at 19.40 in the Vintage Mobile Cinema. Herman@s (Sibling X) is a cerebral and exhilarating film concerning the fictional life of Cuco/a, a transgender pirate clad in latex. Through this character, Mourrier explores notions of the transgender identity, the relation of oppressed people to the state and the euphoria of the queer nightclub. With no nation, no gender and no face, Cuco/a embodies a radical relation to authority.
