Due to the censorship by SWTUC of the film, Oh, Jeremy Corbyn: The Big Lie, the Tolpuddle Radical Film Festival has withdrawn from this year’s Martyr’s Festival in Tolpuddle.
However, we are screening the banned film at Tolpuddle in Tolpuddle Village Hall at 14.00 on Saturday 15th July.
We are delighted to say that we will be joined at the screening by Naomi Wimborne-Idrissi and Leah Levane both participants in the film and high-profile victims of Labour’s 21st Century McCarthyism.
As the screening is free it is highly likely that there will be spare seats on the day so we encourage everyone who supports the screening to come down to the Tolpuddle Village Hall for 13.45 to pick up any vacant seats but also to hear from Naomi and Leah and to join together in a demonstration of our support for the film.
If the weather is fine, after the film there will be a discussion led by Naomi and Leah under the Tolpuddle Tree on the Village Green opposite the hall.
